BlackwaterUSA Debacle Explains the Confusion About the Dems.

BlackwaterUSA has enjoyed the free ride of being the fall-guy without paying a price (or their taxes according to today's Washington Post).

They have been given free reign because of the fear factor. We can not be foolish enough to think for a second that the Democrats are that blind to be given a pass on what the GAO has been reporting about the military contractors for at least 4 years. Blackwater has operated without any oversite. This has led to cash bonuses and an attitude of a 4 year old with a twenty dollar bill, let alone in a candy store. The only difference is BlackwaterUSA must be funneling money back to the Congressmen and women, as hush money disguised as campaign contributions that go undetected.

The Washington Post reported a couple weeks ago that another lobbyist reform bill gets through without complete disclosure. To assume the Democrats are laying back in confusion is just absurd. Ms. Nacy Pelosi has a silly grin on her face for a good reason. When we see the full scope of the kickbacks made to these politicians we will know the truth. The angry spectator to all this mess will say the Dems are no different than the Republicans. That may be true to a certain extent, but if there is ever a chance of someone growing a conscience, you can bet your bottom dollar that the Republican will not win that race.

I speak in terms of HOPE... The only two human beings running for president that shed even a glimmer of a chance of exhibitting some sort of maturity towards handling the lobbyist monster that is rapidly swallowing every last bit of democracy, it's John Edwards or Barak Obama.

There is, absolutely, no way the problems involving organizations such as BlackwaterUSA or Halliburton and our Congress will be solved until the benefit cashing in on the war, is eliminated.

This week the theme of the media is 'The USA and the middle-eastern countries must meet up with a common solution.'

The common solution will not come to light unless they deal with the 'common problem'.

Hillary the Lobbyist Pig with Expensive Media Lipstick

Well it will be interesting to see if Hillary flip-flops on her previous statement as to collection money from the Lobbyist interest groups.

THIS is completely insane (<<<< one person's opinion) The Lobbyist influence has been the number one problem with Washington DC. If Hillary isn't going to be a forward thinker on this topic, she shouldn't be at the top of the polls.

In short, do you want the pharmacutical companies, the insurance industry, and the many other big business conglomerates in charge of our country or do you want it back!

She isn't going to remove the lipstick and go on a diet. That much Hillary admits!!!

Bush Furious at the Prospect of Peace in the Middle-East

Found this in the depths of the WASHINGTON POST - Somewhere behind or along side of the Religious Opinion page...

I could be wrong but I think this is from a person with the Denver Research think-tank group...

--------------------------------------------
6:15PM Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), Friday, August 10, 2007: President Bush issues a stern warning to Iran and Iraq...to Iran for meddling in Iraq, and to Iraqi PM Maliki for cozying up to Tehran...Bush bullies that there will be a price to pay for close relations;

My response in their comments section;

- The United States and our allies go into Iraq like a Bull in a China Shop with exploding Bunker Busters.

- Imprison and to a great degree brutally torture thousands whilst more than *80% of the detainees are completely innocent.

- The Iraq Parliament declares the US forces as 'Nothing less than Butchers' this past year.

- Yet, we are suprised that the new Iraqi government is reaching out to ally themselves with someone to help the American forces out or Iraq.

- I'm not even going to touch the history between the USA - Iran - and Iraq... I do have a life beyond all this nonsense

*See HBO Documentary 'Ghosts of Abu Ghraib' where a General in charge of the prison at the time describes the percentages of detainees.

Simple how to Stop the Government Corruption:

~{{{{{ Petition to Stop Funding Halliburton }}}}}~

Bush and Cheney do not care what the majority of Americans think. It is now time to pull the plug on the most corrupt drain on our national budget.

Sure we'd like to see the people in charge of steal our tax dollars go to jail, but simply stopping the funnel is the first priority!

Church groups throughout the country can certainly participate in the Petition effort. The is a policy issue, not a political issue. Just as abortion is a policy issue discussed in church halls every Sunday.

At the very least contact your local legislators:

How to contact your Representatives and Sentators;

Step 1. You will need to know your FULL zip code

www.zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp

Step 2. Go to find your local Reps and Senators;

www.house.gov/

www.senate.gov/

Step 3. Keep it to the point and simple - The politico staffers have a short attention span as they need to review 10's if not thousands of e-mails every day.

Petition: We Are Displeased with the Halliburton Contract

Our government, Congress as well as Bush and the Bushies have allowed the Halliburton Contract Plus Blind Bid to roll forward dispite constant reports from the GAO concerning corruption and systemic overcharging.

As it stands, Halliburton has a contract that inspires such corruption. The contract-plus arrangement means that for every 100 dollars Halliburton earns they will earn a bonus payment on top of that 100 earned.

This only encourages Halliburton to waste as much of the taxpayers money as it can.

We the American citizens need to tell our congressmen and women that they need to stop this!

Here is the simple process to communicating with your locate Representative:

Step 1: http://www.house.gov/

--------enter your zip code to find your Rep. (you say 'I don't know my +4 digit code, no problem)

Step 2: Find you local code in addition to your 5 digit zip code Here:

http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp

Step 3: Email you Congressperson's office. Keep it simple and to the point. Their staffers will not read lengthy lunatic rants.

Thank you for being a good American. Have a nice day.

BILL TITLE: Protect America Act
S 1927
4-Aug-2007

Washington Post Report:

House Approves Foreign Wiretap Bill

By CHARLES BABINGTON
The Associated Press
Monday, August 6, 2007; 12:52 PM

WASHINGTON -- The House handed President Bush a victory Saturday, voting to expand the government's abilities to eavesdrop without warrants on foreign suspects whose communications pass through the United States.

The 227-183 vote, which followed the Senate's approval Friday, sends the bill to Bush for his signature.
----------------------------------------

This is completely INSANE!

Bush and the Bushies continue to lie and say it's about listening to foreigner conversations. The truth is as you read the bill at the house of reps site, Gonzo Gonzales will have free reign to grant wiretaps on anyone at anytime.

The Democrats need to challenge the constitutionality of this immediately. Pelosi will be handing her crown to Sheehan if she doesn't get on top of this NOW!

*So far Ms. Nancy Pelosi has recieved over 200,000 e-mails concerning this bill.

If you aren't convinced the Media is completely full of Sh!t...

Here is WaPo with an attempt to keep the remaining loyal Bushies in toe with the conservative mind-set.

And might I say it's complete nonsense because Bush sr. ((said)) he would be the 'Kinder Gentler' canidate for his 2nd term while campaigning. If my recollection is correct, HE LOST!

~~~ History suggests the right answer and the wrong answer. The right answer was furnished by Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush in 1988. The country was ready for change after two terms of Reagan, who had been weakened by the Iran-contra scandal. Bush said he would be a "kinder, gentler" conservative. And Reagan, brilliantly, argued, "We are the change," reminding voters how much he had already altered the political landscape of America. Bush went on to win. ~~~
