BlackwaterUSA Debacle Explains the Confusion About the Dems.

BlackwaterUSA has enjoyed the free ride of being the fall-guy without paying a price (or their taxes according to today's Washington Post).

They have been given free reign because of the fear factor. We can not be foolish enough to think for a second that the Democrats are that blind to be given a pass on what the GAO has been reporting about the military contractors for at least 4 years. Blackwater has operated without any oversite. This has led to cash bonuses and an attitude of a 4 year old with a twenty dollar bill, let alone in a candy store. The only difference is BlackwaterUSA must be funneling money back to the Congressmen and women, as hush money disguised as campaign contributions that go undetected.

The Washington Post reported a couple weeks ago that another lobbyist reform bill gets through without complete disclosure. To assume the Democrats are laying back in confusion is just absurd. Ms. Nacy Pelosi has a silly grin on her face for a good reason. When we see the full scope of the kickbacks made to these politicians we will know the truth. The angry spectator to all this mess will say the Dems are no different than the Republicans. That may be true to a certain extent, but if there is ever a chance of someone growing a conscience, you can bet your bottom dollar that the Republican will not win that race.

I speak in terms of HOPE... The only two human beings running for president that shed even a glimmer of a chance of exhibitting some sort of maturity towards handling the lobbyist monster that is rapidly swallowing every last bit of democracy, it's John Edwards or Barak Obama.

There is, absolutely, no way the problems involving organizations such as BlackwaterUSA or Halliburton and our Congress will be solved until the benefit cashing in on the war, is eliminated.

This week the theme of the media is 'The USA and the middle-eastern countries must meet up with a common solution.'

The common solution will not come to light unless they deal with the 'common problem'.
